Diane Amundson & Associates offers many solutions for your business. Presentations are available on the following topics:
Team Building
In today's fast- paced, globally competitive workplace, it is essential that employees contribute to the success of their organizations by listening, sharing ideas and working collaboratively. While the concept of an effective team is easy to understand the execution can be difficult. In this workshop, Diane will train an organization's leaders on how to form a team, identify the characteristics of a team leader and learn a problem solving process that yields results. In addition you will learn how to encourage and capture ideas from team members, ways to recognize individual and team performance and how to invite constructive conflict into a meeting.
Networking for People Who Hate Networking
We all know the importance of connecting with other human beings to improve our social and professional lives. However, there are times when we will do anything to avoid attending that networking event that we know will help us succeed. In this workshop you will discover how to introduce yourself so people want to know more, learn how to connect with others through small talk and understand how to make a positive, lasting impression.
Conflict Resolution
A successful leader must be seeking to build relationships & knowing how to resolve conflict quickly and effectively will help in maintaining important relationships. A leader must become skilled in understanding the appropriate questions to ask of yourself and others within a conflicting situation that will help diffuse the emotion and lead to a creative solution.
Strategic Planning
Focus, focus, focus. It is so easy to become distracted in today's busy world. A leader can get an adrenaline rush just putting out fires but eventually this leads to burn out. In this workshop the leadership team will create a vision, mission and core values statement that will help direct the organization into the future. In addition strategic initiatives will be developed that help the vision become a reality along with a detailed action plan to make it all happen.
Generations in the Workplace
For the first time in history we have four unique generations working side by side in the workplace. While we are more similar than different, the ideas, beliefs and values that shaped us during our formative years are often vastly different and can lead to conflict. Traditionalists, Boomers, Gen X and Y will often differ in how they view time, money, authority and formality. This workshop will explore the similarities and differences and provide concrete tips and tools to bridge the generational gap which will lead to greater personal and professional productivity.
